Build a compatibility checklist before buying a lens

Start with the exact camera body and the exact lens version. A shared brand name is not enough information to confirm a pairing.

Record the full names

Write down the body model, lens designation, mount and any adapter already in use. Keep suffixes and version markings. Our system collections group items to make browsing easier; they are not a promise that every item in a group works with every body.

Tell us how you plan to use it

Explain whether you need particular metering behaviour, aperture control or another function. If an adapter is involved, include its manufacturer and model. Ask for confirmation of the specific combination rather than asking only whether a lens “fits Nikon” or “fits Leica”.

Check the supplied set

Caps, hoods, filters, cases and adapters appear only when recorded in the individual listing or actual-item photographs. Do not assume that a photographed system or another listing supplies an accessory with your item.

Browse by system or send us your exact camera and lens combination before ordering.
